Barley straw bags
Barley straw is used to naturally control both string algae and green water algae. Place the bags along the shore just under the water so the warm water and sun activates the barley straw. We pack them in mesh bags that are 20" round and 36" long. Always take the rotten straw out of the pond every fall, compose the straw and put the mesh in the trash. Put 12 bags per surface acre, pick up or delivery avalible. |
